The Power Box is a UL listed pump connection center.

Your piggy back float switch plugs into the receptacle in the box and the alarm and pump power are connected to the terminal blocks in the box.

The Power Box is designed for electrical code compliance. The 4X enclosure prevents harmful septic gases and moisture from affecting the electrical wiring.
